Math Dash Privacy Policy

How the Math Dash app stores game records and settings and handles advertising data.

1. Using the app

Math Dash is an Android arithmetic game with no account or login requirement. It does not ask you to enter your name, email or phone number, or request camera, microphone, contacts or precise-location permissions. This policy applies to the Math Dash app. The Ocean Code website has a separate privacy policy linked in its footer.

2. Game information stored on your device

The app stores scores, difficulty, correct and incorrect answer counts, best streaks, round dates and identifiers, and language, background music, sound effect and vibration preferences on your device. These support game history, personal bests and your settings. The game code does not send this information to a developer server.

3. Retention and deletion

The app keeps up to 100 round records, including the best record for each difficulty. Older ordinary records may be removed when new records are saved. To delete local records and settings, clear app data in Android Settings → Apps → Math Dash → Storage. Menu names may vary by device manufacturer.

4. Google AdMob advertising

Math Dash uses Google AdMob for banners on results, interstitial ads between games and optional rewarded ads. Completing a rewarded ad lets you continue the same game for 20 seconds. The advertising SDK may collect and process IP addresses, device and advertising identifiers, ad and app interactions, and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. This data may be sent to Google and advertising service providers. Their policies and your choices govern processing and retention.

5. Advertising consent and choices

Where required, Google consent services present advertising privacy choices. You can revisit them through Ad privacy choices in the app settings when available. Android advertising settings also let you manage your advertising ID. Deleting local game records does not automatically delete advertising data already processed by Google. The basic game works without internet or ads; rewarded extra play is available when an ad can be shown.

6. Children’s privacy

Math Dash is designed for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. It does not ask for a birth year, date of birth, name or age. Because no age is collected, all ad requests conservatively apply under-age-of-consent protection and a general-audience (G) ad content limit. The Android advertising ID permission is removed. Google ads SDK may process IP addresses, app interactions and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Parents or guardians can contact us below.

7. Policy changes

When app features or data practices change, we update this page and its revision date. Important changes will be announced in the app or on this website.
